It has been an association of fifty years- Of moments sour and sweet. In these years, you have helped me secure A lifetime’s worth of relationships. You are my teacher, in your school you taught skills to improve my endurance. I still bow my head in salutation At your zeal, for teaching me with so much patience. You kept watch on the passage of time and Have now painted my hair in silver shades. Dreams that flooded with sweetness my childhood years Is it you who has decided to now let them abate? Your stories, anecdotes that involve you and me, I love to hear them, my dear friend. These fifty years of our association. Promise to lend your support, to take it to its logical end!
