Water Lilies

To be heard,
 Seen, acknowledged,
 Rise above the multitude;
 Like the water lily-
 Its head raised to the sky and
 Petals stretched out
 In salutations,
 Like a twirling dervish-
 His arms raised in "sajdaa"
 To the almighty.
