    1. Very true….This is a lake in southern part of Kolkata and famous for the migrating birds that come here during winter months. In other times, it is still home to many species of birds and a treat for bird lovers. The storks that are white spots here ( I did not have a suitable camera to take better pics) are painted storks, a native of this region. It is favourite spot for early morning walkers and joggers and one of the very few places that is still open to public in morning hours at the moment.
